50 Cent has refuted accusations of sexual and physical abuse made by his former partner, Daphne Joy. In a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, the rapper addressed the allegations, stating, “The troubling claims made in recent legal filings pertaining to Daphne Joy, the mother of my twelve-year-old child, have compelled me to take decisive legal action to safeguard my son Sire.”
He added, ” latest accusations of Daphne Joy’s are evidently a reaction to my pursuit of my son’s sole custody. Ensuring Sire’s well-being in a secure environment is my primary concern.”
These remarks follow Joy’s assertions on Instagram, where she alleged abuse and sexual assault by 50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson. Joy was referenced in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alongside Diddy’s former partner Yung Miami, who purportedly received compensation for sexual services.
“Curtis James Jackson. until our safety is compromised everything is a joke to you, which is happening now. You are wreaking real frenzy and chaos onto lives of people’. How would you feel if it was Sire the one in handcuffs? For nothing,” she expressed in her post.
“We had shift to New York to afford you the opportunity to be a father to your son, still you saw him only 10 times in the two years that we lived merely 1 mile away from you. I am exhausted from maintaining and safeguarding an image to our son that you have never even earned.”
Joy also refuted the accusations from Jones’ lawsuit, stating on Instagram, “I am deeply wounded by the fabrications in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit. The assertion that I am a sex worker is entirely false and constitutes character assassination. I am consulting with a lawyer to explore all legal options against both Rodney and his attorney.”
Earlier 50 Cent has responded to developments in Diddy’s case. The rapper, known for hits like “In da Club,” took to social media to criticize fellow rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, with whom he has had a long-standing feud. This comes after authorities raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a sex trafficking investigation.
Sharing a screenshot showing Sean’s sons, Justin and King Combs, being escorted out of his Los Angeles residence in handcuffs, 50 Cent commented, “Things just escalated quickly 👀 the Feds are in all the houses, damn, even the kids are in cuffs.”
