From the start of the game, Inter Miami took control until the end. Lionel Messi and Suarez each scored two goals. Robert Taylor also contributed one goal. Miami beat Orlando City 5-0 at the Chase Stadium.
Orlando is now winless in their games, with another draw against Montreal. However, they couldn’t score a single goal in either match.
The coach of Orlando said, “This is a very disappointing day for us. From the first minute to the end of the game, it didn’t look like us in many areas, and obviously, against a team like Miami, we can’t afford to give them too much space.”
Suarez scored his first goal in the 4th minute and his second in the 11th minute. The third goal was scored by Robert Taylor in the 29th minute. The magician Messi scored his two goals in the 57th and 62nd minutes.
Pareja admitted, “There’s no excuse. They were better than us, and we didn’t perform well today. We didn’t show up in our usual manner, and we’ll take full responsibility for that. It’s a disappointing day to say this in front of our fans, but we must acknowledge our responsibility to improve.”
Slovenian center-back David Brekalo was on the bench for Orlando on Saturday.
According to Pareja, Brekalo is still working to reach peak physical condition and wasn’t 100% available against Miami.
