Henry Cavill, the 40-year-old Man of Steel actor, has confirmed that he’s going to be a dad for the first time with his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso. During an interview with Access Hollywood at the New York City premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, the Justice League star revealed the exciting news.
“I’m very excited about it. We are both very excited about it. I’m sure you’ll see much more of that,” Cavill told the outlet’s reporter when asked about embracing fatherhood. As the interview concluded, the reporter praised the movie star, saying he would “make a great dad.”
“Thank you,” Cavill replied with a smile. The couple was seen strolling around New York City on Sunday, April 14. Viscuso donned a fitted black dress and matching boots while holding hands with her beau, who sported a blue jacket over a tan-colored tee, blue trousers, and black shoes. Back in January, Cavill and his girlfriend of over two years made a public appearance at the London premiere of his film Argylle.
Cavill wore a dark blue suit with black buttons and shoes, while Viscuso chose a floor-length white gown paired with matching shoes and a long white-and-gold coat with horizontal stripes. Cavill and Viscuso made their relationship Instagram official in April 2021, each sharing a photo of themselves playing chess together on their respective profiles.
“In this photo, I’m quietly confident just before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie defeats me at chess,” Cavill wrote in the caption of his post. Viscuso playfully teased her boyfriend in her own caption, suggesting, “teaching my dear Henry how to play some chess…or…maybe he let me win?”
The pair then stepped onto the red carpet together in New York City in October 2022 for the premiere of Cavill’s Netflix film Enola Holmes 2. Viscuso, a television executive at Vertigo Entertainment, and Cavill disclosed their collaboration on an adaptation of Warhammer 40,000 in December 2022.
Reflecting on the partnership in an Instagram post, Cavill expressed gratitude, stating, “Without her, we might not have found the perfect home at Amazon.” “Fantasy, horror, and sci-fi are the pillars of my creative expression, so when Henry introduced me to Warhammer a couple of years ago, I immediately felt connected,” Viscuso shared on Instagram at the time.
